About the Position

Job Title

Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Location

Boston, MA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide surgical technologist support across a 22-room OR department staffed 24/7, covering a broad range of surgical services including general, gynecology, GU, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
Demonstrate competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical service lines
Support Level 1 trauma cases as required
Maintain a positive attitude, flexibility, and excellent communication skills in a fast-paced surgical environment
May float to other OR campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgical experience required
Level 1 trauma experience required
NBSTSA certification required — no other surgical tech certification accepted
BLS certification required
Candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will be considered at a local rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience across multiple specialty surgical services (e.g., robotics, cardiac, neuro, vascular, spine)
Ability to adapt quickly across OR campuses and service lines
Strong interpersonal and team communication skills in high-acuity environments
